At Dallington School, we understand that every family’s circumstances and needs are unique. That’s why we offer a limited number of flexi-schooling places, carefully considered on a case-by-case basis to ensure this model is the right fit for each child and family. As an inclusive school, we work in partnership with parents and carers to provide flexible learning opportunities where appropriate, supporting our commitment to meeting the individual needs of all our children.

What is Flexi Schooling?

At Dallington, we know that every child's learning journey is unique. Our flexi-schooling option offers a blend of structured school learning and home education. Children are registered as home-schooled whilst attending a core number of days at school to further enrich their learning experience.

Flexi-schooling allows families to personalise their child’s education, and is ideal for those seeking a more adaptable approach to learning — allowing for additional time to pursue specialist interests such as sports or music or simply to attend a mainstream setting in a way that is accessible to them.

We work closely with families to ensure consistency, support and a positive experience for all. Dallington's nurturing ethos, small classes, and creative curriculum make it the perfect environment for children to thrive — in school and at home.

What does our community say?

Flexi School at Dallington has given us the perfect blend of structure and freedom. My children still benefit from a warm, social, and inspiring classroom environment — while we continue to nurture their learning at home. It’s the best of both worlds.

– Dallington Flexi School parent

Flexi-schooling isn’t the right path for every family — but for some, it offers the flexibility they need while still being part of a warm, supportive school community. At Dallington, we’re always open to exploring what works best for each child. That’s at the heart of what we do.

– James, Head of Dallington School

I really like coming to Dallington because I get to do art, science and sometimes go on school trips with my friends. It’s fun because every day is a bit different!
